Supporting the transition to a circular bio-economy
Co-Labs was born as a direct response to the current state of the world in the 21st century.
In the wake of the 2019 bushfires and in the midst of the string of 2020 COVID lockdowns, we realised something. Traditional economic models and competitive business practices were leading to widespread ecological destruction.
There was an opportunity to initiate positive change by reimagining the way we innovate, collaborate, and create value with science and technology. We started by supporting impact-driven research and development, while also offering educational programs that develop STEM capabilities, critical and living systems thinking, and eco-literacy.
A collaborative, inclusive, and regenerative bio-based economy is the key to addressing the pressing problems of our time.
Our unwavering commitment to our principles of ‘business unusual’ has helped to propel us forward, making Co-Labs Australia a leading force in the pursuit of a sustainable and resilient future.
